We will play against Besiktas in the opening match of the Super Cup

VTB United League has approved the format and calendar of the fourth pre-season Super Cup.

The tournament will be attended by 4 strongest Russian teams, as well as the seven-time and current champion of the Adriatic League, the participant of the Euroleague Serbian Crvena Zvezda and the representative of the EuroCup, the semifinalist of the Turkish championship Besiktas.

The Super Cup will be held in Moscow on the VTB Arena floor from September 11 to 14.

In the group stage, the teams will play a round system in their own group, each with each other. According to the results of the group stage, all clubs qualify for the playoffs.

The opponents of UNICS in Group B will be the bronze medal winner Zenit (St. Petersburg) and Besiktas (Istanbul). Group A was made up of the reigning VTB United League champion CSKA Moscow, the country's fourth team following the results of last season, Lokomotiv Kuban (Krasnodar) and Crvena Zvezda from Belgrade.

UNICS will play its first match on Wednesday, September 11 at 17:00 against Besiktas. Kazan will play Zenit on Friday, September 13 at 20:00.

On the final game day, September 14, the group winners will compete for the trophy in the final. The second-place teams will compete for bronze medals, and the clubs that finished in third place will compete for 5th place.
