UNICS took part in the Day of Physical education

On Saturday, August 10, BC UNICS traditionally took part in the celebration of Kazan Sports Day, timed to coincide with the All-Russian Day of Physical Education.

For one day, Uram Park became a large outdoor area, residents and guests of the city could plunge into the atmosphere of sports and an active lifestyle. Competitions of pupils of sports schools, bright master classes, interesting tournaments and much more were held at the festival.

The event started at 9 a.m. with charging. During the day, karate, fencing, taekwondo, curling, judo and boxing competitions were held in the park. Fans of an active lifestyle could pass the TRP standards and take part in the first cycling marathon.

One of the most spectacular events was the traditional All-Russian basketball tournament Orange Ball. And in the water area of Kazanka, a bright competition Sails of Kazan took place.

At the event, the players of our youth team Roman Ilyuk, Nikita Lednev and Egor Shaposhnikov tried their hand at a beach volleyball tournament. In addition, everyone had the opportunity to take a photo and get an autograph from UNICS forward Alexandr Stulenkov.
