BC UNICS signed a contract with point guard Tony TAYLOR (185 cm, 87 kg). The employment agreement with the 34-year-old American is valid until the end of the 2024/25 championship.


Last season, a graduate of George Washington University defended the colors of Bahcesehir. In 24 Turkish league matches, his averages were 13.0 points (with 40% of shots from behind the arc), 5.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 29 and a half minutes of playing time. The American basketball player also played 14 games in the previous FIBA Europe Cup, averaged 10.9 points, 4.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds in 26.8 minutes on the floor.



The upcoming championship will be Tony's third in the VTB United League. From 2015 to 2017, the newcomer of UNICS played for the Krasnoyarsk Enisey. In the 2016/17 season, his average stats were 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists. A year earlier, the guard helped the Russian club reach the Final Four of the FIBA Europe Cup.

Taylor's collection of awards includes the gold of the FIBA Champions League with the Italian Virtus (2019).



In the 2013/14 season, representing the Polish Turow, the overseas guard helped the club win the national championship for the first time in history and, along with it, a ticket to the Euroleague. In addition, that same year, the American became the owner of the country's Super Cup.

In the 2014/15 championship, in 10 matches of the main European tournament on the continent, Tony's average indicators in the ranks of the Polish team were 10.5 points, 3.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 18.6 minutes.

In addition, the American's track record includes performances for the Tulsa 66 team of the NBA G-League (2012/13), the French Strasbourg (2016), the Turkish Banvit (2017/18), Pinar Karsiyaka (2019-2022) and Turk Telekom (2022/23).
