BC UNICS and head coach Velimir PERASOVIC have agreed to extend cooperation until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 59-year-old Croatian specialist has been leading our team since the summer of 2021. In the 2022/23 season, UNICS, under the leadership of Perasovic, achieved a historic achievement, becoming the champion of the VTB United League and Russia for the first time.

In the last championship, Kazan, led by the Balkan coach, continued its victorious pace, winning the regular season for the first time in the history of the tournament.

In addition, last season, the coach of UNICS was recognized as the best coach of the VTB United League and won silver medals of the tournament with the Tatarstan team.

Earlier in 2022, UNICS, led by Perasovic, won the bronze medal of the VTB United League championship and Russia and claimed entry into the Euroleague playoffs.

Velimir Perasovic was also selected three times as the head coach for the All-Star Game (2022, 2023, 2024).
