BC UNICS and the head coach of UNICS-Junior Oliver POPOVIC decided to terminate cooperation in connection with the transfer of a specialist to another club.

The 54-year-old Serb took over UNICS-Junior in October 2022. In the autumn of the following year, for the first time in history, Kazan juniors won the Tatarstan Cup. In May 2024 kazan guys under the leadership of Popovic won the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan among men's teams.
