Born in the capital of Tatarstan and a graduate of Kazan basketball, forward Pavel ANTIPOV, who played for UNICS for five seasons (2012-2015, 2016/17, 2020/21), announced his retirement at the age of 32.

As part of our team, Pavel Antipov became a two-time silver medalist of the European Cup (2014, 2021), the winner of the Russian Cup (2014), the silver medalist of the VTB United League and the Russian Championship (2021), as well as the bronze medalist of the VTB United League and the Russian Championship (2014).

In addition to UNICS, during his career Pavel defended the colors of Krasnodar Lokomotiv Kuban, together with which he won the Russian Cup for the second time in 2018 and was included in the Team of the Final Four, and also won silver again in the second most important club tournament of the continent. In 2016, as a member of Zenit St. Petersburg, Antipov won the bronze medal of the VTB United League and the Russian Championship for the second time.

Also, in different years Antipov played for CSKA-VVS-Samara, Spartak from St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm Parma.

Besides, in the track record of the 32-year-old Kazan citizen is the gold of the 2013 World Universiade in Kazan with the Russian student national team and the bronze of the tournament in Gwangju, Korea in 2015.
