BC UNICS and center Jalen Reynolds (208 cm, 113 kg) signed a new agreement to extend cooperation under the 1+1 scheme.

In the concluded VTB United League championship, the 31-year-old American took part in 49 regular season and playoff series matches, effectively acting on both sides of the court. The average statistics of the Kazan bigman amounted to 13.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 22:21 minutes of playing time.

Last September, Jalen was named the best center of the preseason tournament for the Kondrashin and Belov Cup. During the regular season, Reynolds was included three times in the All-VTB United League Team of the Round, as well as along with Nenad Dimitrijevic in the Team of the semifinals.

In March of this year, the bigman of UNICS updated the career record for the number of three-pointers scored per game, in an away match against Lokomotiv Kuban (82:90), having completed 5 of 6 long-range attempts and scored 19 points.

In May, Jalen gave a powerful performance and became the main hero of the fifth victorious match of the semifinal series between UNICS and Loko (81:78). Having scored a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds, the Kazan center set a personal record for the season in terms of performance, repeated his personal record in points for UNICS and set a record for points in the semifinals of the VTB United League-2023/24.

In addition, Reynolds has twice participated in the VTB United League All–Star Game (2023, 2024).
