Artem Komolov stays in UNICS

BC UNICS and shooting guard Artem KOMOLOV (193 cm, 91 kg) signed a new agreement under the 1+1 scheme.

The 31-year-old two-time bronze medalist of the VTB United League and Russia as part of UNICS and CSKA returned to the Kazan team in the summer of 2023, with which he became vice-champion.

Last season, Komolov took part in 20 games of the pre-season tournaments and the League championship. The average stats of the UNICS guard were 4.0 points and 1.0 assists in 15:43 minutes on the floor.

The injury sustained in January of this year did not allow Artem to perform in subsequent matches. Komolov was engaged in recovery and trained according to an individual program under the guidance of our club's specialists.

We are confident that in the upcoming 2024/25 championship, the winner of the three-point shot contest of the VTB United League 2021 All-Star Game will clearly prove himself on the court and will become an important part of the UNICS rotation.
