UNICS guard Erick GREEN summed up the results of the team's pre-season training and shared his expectations from the opening match of the VTB United League regular season against Lokomotiv Kuban, which will be held on September 30 in Kazan.

«I think the preparation for the season went well, despite the fact that we have not yet had the opportunity to train in full. Step by step we are getting better. We expect to approach the first official match in full readiness.

We are determined to work hard and we will fight for victory. We know that a tough game awaits us. Lokomotiv Kuban basketball players act tough and run well. The opening match of the season against them is a great test.

At the pre-season Super Cup our team did not perform in the best way, but this is understandable. The players only get to know and get used to each other. I am sure that under the guidance of such a strong coach as Velimir Perasovic, we will definitely improve».
