The UNICS juniors won 4 out of 5 matches and took 2nd place in the F3 group of the Final round of the XXIII Russian Championship among basketball players under 19, the games of which ended in Vasilevo.

On April 18, Oliver POPOVIC's team began its journey on the tour with a major victory over their peers from Samara-Juniors (79:59).

A bright match was played by Daniil DUBOVOY, who had 28 points and 5 steals at the end of 31 minutes on the floor. Nikita PAVLOV and Ilnar FARKHUTDINOV dominated under the board, collecting 19 rebounds for two and adding 24 points to them. In addition, Ilnar Farkhutdinov scored 6 assists.

The next day, our basketball players suffered their only defeat against UOR No. 3 Khimki (58:73). Our guys lost under the board (40 to 47 in rebounds) and failed to cope with the sniper of the Moscow region team Fedor Lavrekhin, who scored 30 points.

On April 20, Kazan returned to the winning path in the game with Stavropol Southern Elephant (72:62). Daniil DUBOVOY scored a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, adding 4 assists to them. Ilnar FARKHUTDINOV brought the team another 16 points with 7 rebounds. Alexey KOZHEMYAKIN has 15 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

Oliver Popovic's team also celebrated success in the next two match with A.Ya.Gomelsky UOR No. 4 (71:53) and the MBA Academy (86:72).

One rebound was not enough for Nikita PAVLOV in the match against A.Ya.Gomelsky UOR No. 4 to double-double (18 + 9 rebounds). Daniil DUBOVOY brought 13 more points and 8 rebounds to Kazan. The main creator of success in the final game was Daniil DUBOVOY again, who collected a collection of 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists.
