The opponent of UNICS was determined in the first round of the VTB United League playoffs of the 2023/24 season. It will be Samara, which beat MBA in the final match of the play-in tournament (85:77) and took 8th place at the end of the regular season (2nd place in group B).

The quarterfinal series will take place up to 3 wins according to the scheme 2+2+1 .

The first matches will take place on the floor of the Basket Hall in Kazan on April 23 and 25 at 19:00.

The third game will be held in Samara on April 28. If necessary, the fourth, guest game of the series is scheduled for April 30.

If the 5th match is needed to identify the winner, it will be held in the capital of Tatarstan on May 3 at 19:30.
