We close the preseason with a convincing victory over MBA

In its final match of the VTB United League pre-season SuperCup, UNICS did not leave MBA a single chance (83:64) and completed preparations for the season on a positive note. The key to victory was the active defense of Kazan (12 steals), which provoked 17 turnovers from the Moscow team and closed the perimeter to opponents (only 21% of hits from the red-whites from behind the arc).

The head coach of UNICS, Velimir Perasovic, used a wide rotation of his team. Everyone got playing time, and 11 of the 12 basketball players scored points. The most productive in the Kazan team were Marcos KNIGHT (12 + 7 rebounds), Jalen REYNOLDS (11) and Neno DIMITRIJEVIC (10 + 4 assists). Russian basketball players Artem KOMOLOV (10 + 3 rebounds), Alexander STULENKOV (8), Vladislav ODINOKOV (8) and Dmitry KULAGIN (7) made a great contribution to the victory.

Now we plan to have a rest after the SuperCup and prepare qualitatively for the first official match of the season against Lokomotiv Kuban. We will try to correct mistakes, add speed and contact and make every effort to start the championship with a victory.
