Biography
Marcus Lindner was born on 9 July, 1979 in the German town of Bergisch-Gladbach. He started his professional career in Cologne as a physical training coach for “Rein Energy” (2006/07) and then for the main team (2007/09). Marcus moved to Austria to work with “Aliance Swans” (Gmunden), followed by 5 consecutive seasons at “Brose Baskets” (2010/15).
During 2002/09 Lindner was a part of the German team, both main squad and the reserve ones, followed by a fruitful collaboration with the German Basketball Association, which served as a good floor for him to cover a good number of training and preparations issues, including athletes testing, training process planning, composition of training programs and monitoring for the athletes. He is an author of a number of publications and articles on sport training.
In July 2015 Marcus Lindner reached an agreement with “UNICS” Kazan
